Barrel Curls  

One of the simplest sets is achieved by curling the hair around the fingers & then pinning the curl in place. Barrel curls create a soft set.

1. Shampoo & condition your hair; apply setting lotion & comb through from the roots to the ends. Take a small Part of hair (about 25 mm/1 in) & smooth it upwards.
2. Loop the hair into a Huge curl.
3. Clip in place.
4. Continue to curl the rest of the hair in the same way.
5. Dry the hair with a hood dryer or allow it to dry naturally. Remove the clips. To achieve a tousled look rake your fingers through your hair. About a smoother finish use a hair brush.
