What is Dermatitis herpetiformis ?

Dermatitis herpetiformis is a very itchy type of dermatitis associated with intestinal & immune consumption of dairy products or gluten. Dermatitis herpetiformis usually shows up in young adults, & is more common in men & people originally from some areAlthough of northern Europe.

• Stinging & itching around the elbows, knees, scalp, buttocks & back.

Treatment of Dermatitis herpetiformis

• Dapsone, an antibiotic, may help the majority of patients, but had a side effects.
• Oregon grape root detoxides the body & reduces inflammation.
• To relieve itching & promote healing, mix goldenseal root powder with vitamin E oil, then add a little honey until it is consistency of a losse paste. Apply this mixture to the affected area. This will helps to reduce itching & heal dermatitis herpetiformis.
• Ultrapotent topical steroids may helpful.
